Genesis Physical Therapy opened in 2007. After 16 years of running the rehab services at Lake Pointe Medical Center, Rick started a number of outpatient PT Clinics for hospitals and doctors. Genesis is Ricks' 8th outpatient PT clinic and is
                100% owned and operated by Rick Zivney PT
​                           All Genesis clients see Rick.
This ensures consistency throughout the treatment process and makes sure each client is working with an experienced therapist.

The most experienced therapist and the best equipped facility. Genesis Physical Therapy is run by people who act like they own the facility, BECAUSE THEY DO!  Caye, Stephen and Rick Zivney are responsible for everything from evaluation to treatment to billing. Your treatments will be provided by licensed professionals and not technicians. Rick and Stephen are both licensed Physical Therapy professionals and will be the only ones involved in your care. Stephen is beginning his 13 year at Genesis.  We want every customer to have the best possible experience, while providing the safest and most effective treatments. Don't waste your money doing canned exercises you can get on the internet.  High copays and deductibles are now the norm, making an accurate and detailed evaluation vital.  Genesis has specialized evaluation and treatment equipment.  Rick can customize your rehabilitation program to put more emphasis on a home exercise program, allowing you to maximize your healthcare dollar.  We are on most insurance plans and Medicare.

Every Genesis client is evaluated by Rick Zivney, PT and seen by a licensed professional. (Rick or Stephen Zivney)

​Alter-G Anti-gravity treadmill: The standard in functional unweighting. The Alter-G permits variable weight bearing in a normal environment without aquatics.  It allows  progressive weight bearing for athletes, amputees, or post-surgical patients.
Versaclimber SRM-the Sport -Rehab model of Versaclimber is most effective cardio trainer in the world.
The SRM can be used by everyone from professional athletes to post surgical medical client. Works lower body, upper body, and core.  If you have never been on one, you need to try it.
Multiplanar Spinal Column Exercise (MuSCLE) - full spine strength, stability and stretching program for LE/hip/spine using Super-Z MuSCLE Trainer and other spine specific equipment.
Isokinetic Testing - the safest and most effective method of testing and strength training shoulders and knees. Utilized with closed-chain, single-joint, multi-joint stabilization and strengthening, isokinetics is a key part of comprehensive joint rehabilitation.
Post-surgical programs: 38 years of experience specializing in knee, shoulder, ankle, hip and spine.
​Gait and Balance Assessment - full program to objectively assess static and dynamic balance and gait. Biodex Balance System and Alter-G Antigravity Treadmill are utilized along with lower body and core strength/stability training.
Full Athletic Index Testing and Fitness Assessment - comprehensive testing with detailed reporting. Video analysis on Athletic Index Testing. 
T.E.S.T. - Theraputic Exercise for Soft Tissue. 4 sessions include a comprehensive fitness evaluation, home exercise program and  follow-up after 1 month. Great for general musculoskeletal problems without prolonged time or cost.
